Please Note: No Seconding of any kind will be allowed on the route or in the transitions. All seconders must use their seconders armband for entry into the transition areas to place their athletes equipment before the athlete arrives and to retrieve their equipment after they have left the transition. Seconds must give way to athletes coming into the transition area.
The final 7km Multicross run is going to be a out and back route in an anti-clockwise direction. On certain section of the run you will be sharing the path or road with riders finishing the mountain bike leg, so please be careful and keep left. The onus is on you to keep your eyes open for mountain bikers and other runners. Obey marshalls and follow the route markers.
It is important to grab something to drink from the water table as you exit the Mountain Bike / 2nd Trail Run transition area as there is only one water table on the route at the 5kms mark. At the water table you will be marked and your number taken to prove that you have run the entire run 7km trail run leg. If you return to the finish line without this marker you will be disqualified.
We have tried our best to spilt the route with the limited area we have available within the Msinsi Reserve fence. We have also tried to keep your run outside the reserve fun and safe but it is always important stay together where possible.
